I personally find that irritating but it’s worth putting up with for the sheer number of real Vegas slots you can play on the app. They also periodically have side games and sometimes those side games temporarily force you out of the slot you’re playing to show you a reward for having completed a step in the side game. They do not have 3rd party ads but do have some pop-ups for their own coin packages and features. Having said that, I do have over 250 million coins on the app now so I must have had something go my way in the past.
